Lauryn Shannon Flaunts Baby Bump In Underwear Selfie As Due Date Nears

Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon took to social media to show off her growing baby bump ahead of her second child’s birth this summer.

The 21-year-old daughter of Mama June Shannon is about to embrace motherhood for the second time, and she couldn’t help but share her excitement with fans. Pumpkin took to Instagram Tuesday to post a mirror selfie.

In the snap, Lauryn could be seen only wearing a pink bra and cream-colored undies with printed leaves design. The We TV star let her hair down and had her eyeglasses on. Highlighted in the photo is the huge baby bump she now has as she is close to welcoming her second baby.

“My body has given me the greatest gift of life,” she captioned the post along with red heart, baby and footprint emojis.

Many of Lauryn’s fans quickly flooded the comments section with positive messages. Some praised the reality star’s appearance, while a number also took a guess on the baby’s gender.

“You are so beautiful and confident,” one wrote.

“Beautiful as always and such a great blessing,” another commented.

“Stunning as always… I think it’s going to be a boy,” a third user stated.

“Girl, you are glowing hope it’s a girl,” a different netizen added.

In April, Pumpkin opened up to People about her second pregnancy, saying that she and her 24-year-old husband, Josh Efird, were not really expecting to get pregnant three years after they welcomed their first child, Ella Grace.

“We weren't really expecting. We also weren't trying either, but we weren't preventing. Everybody knows Ella's 3 now, so it's taken me that long to get pregnant. Because for a while, I was on birth control and then I got off of birth control for a year and a half. And then I found out that I was pregnant,” she said.

The “Mama June: Road To Redemption” star also disclosed to the outlet that she is due in July. “I think all of us, we're excited, but it's also nerve-wracking in the same sentence,” she added.

Meanwhile, in the latest episode of their reality series, it was revealed that Mama June and Pumpkin’s younger sister Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, 15, got mad at her after learning about her pregnancy.

Apparently, they were tricked by Mama June’s nemesis, Jennifer Lamb Thompson, that Pumpkin confided her pregnancy to her instead of her own family because the expectant mom wanted to keep it a secret from them. The aftermath of the shocking revelation will be featured in the upcoming “Mama June: Road To Redemption” episode this Friday.
