Lea Michele Shares First Post Showing Son Ever's Face [Photo]
Lea Michele finally allowed fans to see baby Ever's face when she posted a birthday tribute to her husband Zandy Reich on Sunday.
The "Glee" alum uploaded an adorable snap of the father and son against a beach backdrop and captioned it, "Greatest man, father, husband and friend. I wake up every day so thankful that you are ours Z. Happy Birthday! Ever and I love you so much."
Reich flashes a wide smile in the photo as he holds Ever in his arms. The baby wore a stylish pair of sunglasses and a pastel-colored sweater set and cap. Ever has appeared on his mom's Instagram page quite a few times since he was born in August 2020 but this is the first time Michele has allowed the public to see his face.
Michele and Reich were first linked in July 2017, according to E! They got married in a private ceremony in Northern California in March 2019 and welcomed their first child in August the following year via Caesarian section.
"I get to be married to my best friend, which is the greatest thing in the entire world," the 35-year-old actress told Us Weekly earlier. "At this point in my life, I feel the most grounded — and happiest — I ever have."
Lea opened up about her Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) diagnosis and her struggles to conceive in an Instagram Live chat with Katherine Schwarzenegger in March 2021.
"It's easy to manage it in your daily life, but when you're trying to conceive, it's much harder, especially if you have extremely irregular periods. You never really know when you can get pregnant," the "Scream Queen" star explained. "On top of that, I had to have multiple procedures to remove polyps and cysts and scar tissue."
The actress said she got pregnant just when she and Reich stopped trying. However, she continued to have health problems throughout her pregnancy.
"I started bleeding terribly, horribly," she told Schwarzenegger in the Instagram Live adding, "I had to tell my mom I was pregnant in the bathroom. That lasted my entire first trimester. I experienced very heavy bleeding, some of which was scary to the point that we rushed in the middle of the night to the hospital."
