The alleged full specs of the Google Pixel 5 was massively leaked online revealing the design details, specs and other information about the upcoming device.
German site WinFuture shared that the Google Pixel 5 features a 6-inch flexible OLED panel with 2340 x 1080 resolution or equivalent to 19:5:p aspect ratio. Google's use of flexible OLED does not mean that the display is foldable, but it enables the company to scale down the bezels around every edge. This particular material supports HDR content with a 432 ppi density and maximum refresh rate of 90Hz.
While the Google Pixel 5 could not offer a 120 Hz display refresh rate, it could beat the 60 Hz allegedly slated for the iPhone 12. The site also mentioned that the upcoming device features the Gorilla Glass 6, which is one generation higher than the Gorilla Glass 5 protective layer. Apart from those, the site revealed that the device is made of 100% recycled aluminum.
Google Pixel 5 weighs approximately 151g, far lighter than other flagship devices released this year. As for its internals, the site shared that it houses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G octacore SoC similar to those housed by OnePlus Nord, LG Velvet and LG Wing. The main camera of the Pixel 5 is a 12.2 MP Sony camera with an ƒ/1.7 aperture.
The second camera features a wide-angle lens that replaces the telephoto lens in Google Pixel 4. The Pixel 5 can record 4K 6fps and 1080p at 240fps video. The site also revealed that the upcoming smartphone packs a 4000 mAh battery, which aligns to earlier rumors. The sire also claims that future owners get fast-charging USB-C at 18 watts. A few days ago, Google Pixel 5 was listed at several pages of UK retailers ahead of the phone's official unveiling.
From these postings, the upcoming device comes in Green and White color options. Other details about the Pixel 5 include three microphones, a pair of stereo speakers, flicker sensors, spectral sensors and a dual-band gigabit WLAN radio. Google's upcoming smartphone also features Bluetooth 5.0 support and 5G.
Interestingly, the site only shows that the Pixel 5 supports sub-6 5G radios. It is worth mentioning that while these details are interesting, these unconfirmed and unofficial. In this case, it should be taken with a pinch of salt. Search engine giant Google is set to hold an event on September 30, which could be the venue for the official launch of the Google Pixel 4a 5G and the Pixel 5 alongside other new products.
