LeEco’s Upcoming Snapdragon 823 Smartphone Scores 154,000 On AnTuTu
Rumors have it that the LeEco will introduce world’s first Snapdragon 821 chipset powered smartphone. The specifications of the rumored smartphone have surfaced on AnTuTu.
Formerly known as LeTV, LeEco was the first smartphone company to announce a Snapdragon 820 phone, the Le Max Pro. In February, it had released Le Max 2, another smartphone powered with SD 820 chipset. The Chinese firm is expected to soon unleash a new smartphone that will include an improved version of SD 820 chipset.
According to Gizmo China, a smartphone with model number LEX720 has been spotted on AnTuTu. The device is powered by Snapdragon MSM8996pro. Speculation suggest it is the Snapdragon 823 or Snapdragon 821 chipset. Instead of the rumored 6 GB of RAM, the alleged Le Max 2 Pro features 4 GB of RAM. It has an internal storage of 32 GB.
Also, instead of Quad HD resolution, the smartphone features full HD resolution screen. Other specs include 16-megapixel rear camera and a selfie shooter of 8-megapixel. The smartphone will come preloaded with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS.
The upcoming LeEco smartphone has scored 154,000 points on AnTuTu benchmarking app. By looking at the details that have surfaced on AnTuTu, it can be known that the Le Max 2 has better specs like 21-megapixel rear-facing camera and 6 GB RAM than that of LEX720. Hence, the LEX720 is dubbed as lighter version of the upcoming flagship smartphone from the company.
Speculations are rife that the higher configuration version of LEX720 will be featuring a Quad HD screen. It will be fueled by Snapdragon 823 chipset and 8 GB of RAM. The smartphone is being referred to as Le Max 2 Pro. The company is rumored to hold a conference event on June 29. Rumors indicate that the alleged Le Max 2 Pro will be announced at the upcoming launch event.
