A Texas woman has found herself banned from Walmart after she decided to take the idea of “free samples” a step further.

Police were called to a Walmart in Wichita Falls after an unidentified woman began causing problems for employees. She had reportedly eaten half a cake that was available in the bakery department. She denied eating the cake and refused to pay the whole price, saying she would pay for half because she claimed that’s how she found it.

“I don’t know if she got the whole cake. I don’t know if she left with the other half of it,” said Sgt. Harold McClure, according to NBC News.

The store’s manager and employees decided not to charge the woman with anything, instead asking police to remove her from the premises, but she remains banned from the store.

This isn’t the first odd incident at a Walmart in Wichita Falls. Another woman was banned from shopping at a different Walmart in the city back in January after she was caught driving around the parking lot in an electric cart while drinking wine out of a Pringles can.
