‘Lethal Weapon’ Spoilers: Episode 15 Synopsis Teases Thomas Lennon’s Debut And Hilarie Burton’s Return

Riggs (Clayne Crawford) and Murtaugh (Damon Wayans) team up with returning character Karen Palmer (Hilarie Burton) for a new mission in Season 1, episode 15 of “Lethal Weapon.”

The synopsis for the episode, titled “As Good As It Getz,” reveals that LAPD’s dynamic duo, Riggs and Murtaugh, is forced to work with DEA agent Palmer once again to protect Leo Getz (Thomas Lennon), an ambulance-chasing attorney who was linked to the Cartel. As the trio’s investigation goes deeper, they start to realize that Leo may not be the only one with a target on his back.

Also in the episode, Riggs starts to see Agent Palmer in a new light while Murtaugh is left troubled after Trish (Keesha Sharp) makes an impulsive decision.

Like Riggs, Murtaugh and Trish, Leo was also a character originally introduced in the “Lethal Weapon” film series. He first appeared in “Lethal Weapon 2” in 1989 and returned for 1992’s “Lethal Weapon 3” and 1998’s “Lethal Weapon 4.” Leo’s job varies by film. He’s a banker in “Lethal Weapon 2,” a real estate agent in “Lethal Weapon 3” and a private Investigator in “Lethal Weapon 4.” The character was played by Joe Pesci in all of the films.

Agent Palmer, meanwhile, made her first appearance on the FOX series in Season 1, episode 7, titled “Fashion Police.” In the episode, Murtaugh and Riggs met Agent Palmer for the first time while investigating the murder of a fashion expeditor that was later revealed to be connected to a case she has been working on for years.

Since Lennon plays the series regular role of Felix Unger on CBS’ “The Odd Couple,” it’s ýunclear whether he will return to the FOX series in future episodes. As for Burton’s case, TVLine previously reported that the “One Tree Hill” alum will also appear in episode 17 of the buddy cop series.

“Lethal Weapon” Season 1, episode 15 airs on Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.
