Levi Johnston Vs. Sarah Palin: ‘We Have Never Hidden Tripp From Levi’
Bristol Palin's baby daddy, Levi Johnston recently announced that he has once again put a bun in some lucky Alaskan's oven. Along with informing the media of his future child with Sunny Oglesby, Johnston has also ignited some more fighting words with the Palin family, more specifically Sarah Palin.
Palin's almost son-in-law phoned into TMZ to explain his situation. Unfortunately I don't get to see him a lot, Johnston had said about Tripp when he called into TMZ Live. Myself and my family, we try to see my son a lot. I even tried to talk to Bristol and make it right. We did everything we could to make it right. I'm still going to fight for Tripp and do everything I can, but I'm really looking forward to being able to raise my new child the way I want to.
Johnston tells TMZ that I haven't seen him in about a month or so, He goes onto explain how the Palin family has lied to him on multiple occasions about his son being in town. Johnston believes that Sarah is the one pulling the strings, stating that he knows she doesn't want him to see his son.
Sarah Palin is singing a different tune to TMZ though. Grandma Palin and her husband, Todd Palin released a statement stating, we have never hidden Tripp from Levi or discouraged Levi from spending time with him. Any suggestion that we have is false and contrary to our core beliefs. The former Alaskan governor said that the last time anyone in her family has had a conversation with Levi was in the summer of 2010. [He] sat down at our house with us and personally apologized about lies he told to the media about our family. Neither of us have talked to him since that day.
Bristol's parents continued that they were disappointed in Johnston's media attention. We encourage Levi and all non-custodial fathers to be fully engaged and to positively and fully participate in their children's lives. This includes not making misstatements about his child's grandparents.
It's only a matter of time before Johnston fires back to TMZ.
