LG G Flex 3 Rumors: Modular Design, 5.5-inch QHD Screen, SD 820, 4 GB RAM To Launch At IFA 2016
LG had released the LG G Flex 2 at the start of 2015 and now it is rumored to be working on its successor device. The rumored LG G Flex 3 is expected to launch with flagship specs in September this year.
The G Flex series from LG includes curved-shaped smartphones with flagship specs. According to Phonesspot, the third iteration of LG G Flex will be launched through the IFA 2016 event that will be held in September this year. The event will take place in Berlin from Sept. 2 to Sept. 7. The publication has also revealed the rumored specs of the LG G Flex 3.
The LG G Flex 3 is expected to feature a 5.5-inch screen that will carry support for Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It will be powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4 GB of RAM. It will be available in storage editions like 32 GB and 64 GB. The LG G Flex 3 will also include a microSD card slot.
Like the LG G5, the G Flex 3 is expected to include a dual-camera system. It will contain twin cameras of 16-megapixel and 8-megapxiel. Its front-facing camera will be of 8-megapixel. Since it is expected to launch in September, speculations are suggesting that it will arrive preinstalled with Android N OS.
The LG G Flex 2 came with an innovative self-healing technology for its back panel. This technology can automatically heal scratches and dents within 10 seconds. There is no confirmation whether such a feature will be available on LG G Flex 3.
However, the upcoming LG flagship is pegged to arrive with a modular design like the LG G5. It means users will be able to attach various accessories to the smartphone such as 360-degree camera, additional battery, and so on to expand its capabilities.
