Liam Hemsworth On Miley Cyrus Heartbreak: How He’s Keeping His ‘Head Level’ After Split

Liam Hemsworth is focused on his physique these days. The actor spoke with Men’s Health Australia about how he’s been “rebuilding” since he and Miley Cyrus announced their split in August 2019. Hemsworth graces “The Earth Issue” cover with his chiseled arm to the forefront and a description that reads “The Youngest Hemsworth’s Advice on Handling Any Crisis.”

“This last six months, honestly, for keeping my head level and just staying balanced, I’d say exercise has been big for me,” the 30-year-old told the outlet.

Hemsworth teamed up with Rise Movement’s Jason Walsh to help him with his workouts. Walsh attested to the hard work Hemsworth has been putting in and suggested that his client is in a better space mentally.

“There are few people who have the natural ability and the body that can absorb everything you throw at it,” said Walsh. “I can’t believe how well his body responds when he’s not going through stuff. I haven’t seen him this happy for a long time. We took advantage of that.”

As previously reported, Hemsworth’s muscles aren’t the only things he’s rebuilding. “The Hunger Games” star is in a new relationship with Gabriella Brooks, who he reportedly feels “more at home” with than he ever did with his ex-wife.

On the other hand, Cyrus is sparking a new flame of her own with her Australian singing boyfriend, Cody Simpson.

"There are good men out there, guys, don’t give up,” the “Wrecking Ball” singer said during a fall 2019 live stream, where she and Simpson answered viewers’ questions about their relationship. “I always thought I had to be gay because I thought all guys were evil, but it’s not true. There are good people out there that just happen to have [penises]. I’ve only ever met one, and he’s on this live."

However, her father Billy Ray Cyrus is still reportedly a fan of Hemsworth.

“Billy Ray basically thinks Cody’s this poor imitation of Liam Hemsworth, whom he adored,” a source told OK! Magazine via Celebrity Insider last month. “They always had a great time together, and he was devastated by their divorce. Billy Ray will give anyone a chance, but he thinks Miley traded down with this guy, and he’s told her so.”
