Is Liam Payne Going To Be A Father Soon? Girlfriend Cheryl Rumored To Be Pregnant With Their First Child
Is Liam Payne going to be a dad?
Rumors are currently claiming that the One Direction member’s girlfriend, Cheryl, is carrying their first child together. The speculation heightened when Cheryl was recently spotted sporting what appeared to be a baby bump while attending an event in Paris, according to The Sun.
Prior to the event, Cheryl was also spotted in London over the weekend, trying to hide her belly, according to the Daily Mail. The singer wore an oversized coat, the flaps of which she held on to the entire time she was outside. The rumors were further fueled when Cheryl’s mother, Joan Callaghan, was spotted shopping for a pregnancy pillow. While the pillow could be for anyone, fans were quick to assume that it was for the singer.
Cheryl and Payne have yet to comment on the rumors. A source close to the two, however, reportedly told Look that they have been making “massive plans for their future together.” Payne has reportedly moved into Cheryl’s place. The source added that the couple is also looking to get a place in the United States.
While the two are taking major steps in their relationship, an engagement will likely not happen this year. Cheryl’s divorce from estranged husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini has yet to be finalized, and according to reports, it might take longer than expected because the restaurateur refuses to sign a non-disclosure agreement. Cheryl married Fernandez-Virsini in 2014. The two split in January 2016.
Rumors of Cheryl and Payne's romance started swirling in February 2016 when the former Girls Aloud member posted a photo of herself getting ready for the Brit Awards. Payne reportedly commented on the photo, saying, “See you there, babe.” Shortly after that, Payne appeared to confirm their relationship when he changed his Instagram account’s profile photo to one of him and Cheryl.
Cheryl has been rather quiet on social media, while Payne is also taking some time off as he works on his solo music in the U.S.
