Liam Payne, Maya Henry Call Off Engagement Again Amid Singer's Photo Scandal

Engaged couple Liam Payne and Maya Henry have called it quits again.

The former One Direction singer was photographed getting handsy with another woman identified as Aliana Mawla, Page Six reported. Photos of Payne and Mawla emerged via a fan account on Instagram.

The snaps included a close-up selfie of Payne embracing Mawla from behind and a black-and-white picture of their hands interlocked. Both photos were reportedly originally posted on Mawla's Instagram Story Sunday night.

"I love all of the fans so much, but please stop sending me these pictures of my fiancé wrapped around another woman," Henry commented on the fan account's post. "This is not me, and it's hard enough knowing this has happened without seeing it. Enough now."

Several netizens also commented on the same post. They felt torn about whether it was legit or not.

"Something's wrong, we need to keep in notice, Liam posted on story he was drunk," one wrote. "This account is the first to post these pics, it was off since 2020. Inactive for two years, wakes up randomly to post these pics. And laya starts trending everywhere. Too fishy to be clean and true, isn't it?"

"This is so disrespectful towards Maya. She already saw it, and the fact that you're posting it is wrong. Posts like this are making it worst," another added. A third person wrote, "Liam Payne adding yet another thing on the already long list of things that get him dragged."

"People are saying they broke up a month ago, so what he couldn't wait to get with another girl lmao clearly he never loved Maya," a fourth user added.

Payne's rep confirmed to People that he and Henry have already split for the second time. The outlet noted that the breakup happened over a month ago.

In June 2021, Payne confirmed in an episode of "The Diary of a CEO" podcast that he and Henry called it quits when he said he was single.

"I am indeed [single]," Payne said at the time, when asked about his relationship status on the podcast. "I feel like more than anything at this point, I'm more disappointed in myself that I keep ... hurting people. That annoys me. I've just not been very good at relationships."

Payne and Henry got back together a month later. Their most recent split came less than a year after they reconciled.
