Liberty Ross Engaged To Jimmy Iovine Three Years After Kristen Stewart-Rupert Sanders Affair Scandal: Report
Liberty Ross and music executive Jimmy Iovine are reportedly engaged. The news comes three years after Ross made headlines because her now ex-husband Rupert Sanders allegedly cheating on her with Kristen Stewart.
According to Us Weekly, Ross and Iovine started dating in 2013, shortly after the 36-year-old model filed for divorce from Sanders. It’s not clear when Iovine, 62, proposed, but the site reports a rep for the couple confirmed the engagement news.
Back in July 2012, news broke that Stewart and Sanders were allegedly involved in an affair while they filmed “Snow White and the Huntsman.” At the time, the “Twilight” actress was dating Robert Pattinson and Sanders was still married to Ross. Both couples initially stayed together following the scandal, but in January 2013 Ross filed for divorce from the movie director. Eventually, Stewart and Pattinson also split. Pattinson is now engaged to singer FKA Twigs and Stewart is rumored to be in a relationship with Alicia Cargile.
Last September, Ross opened up about the affair, telling Harper’s Bazaar UK that she had finally “moved on” from it. “It’s amazing what two years does. Today, I feel happier than I’ve ever felt, and I’m in such a great place,” Ross said. “All of us are: my kids are great, Rupert’s amazing, we have all moved on and everyone is doing really well.
“People need to learn to forgive. I have no problem with anyone involved,” the model continued. “I’m completely compassionate. I really am. No life is perfect, we all have our problems and issues and I believe that it’s good to be true to who you are.”
For her part, Stewart opened up about the scandal in a July interview with Marie Claire describing her early 20s as “traumatic.” The actress said, “I lit my universe on fire, and I watched it burn … Speaking very candidly, it was a really traumatic period in my early 20s that kick-started something in me that was a bit more … feral."
