As the Libya conflict continues, Libyan rebels have taken and are repairing weapons from forces loyal to Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi. On Monday, rebel army officers were seen in a workshop in Benghazi fixing weapons.
In late May, Rebels located in workshops in Misrata in the eastern part of the country were working on weapons such as rocket-propelled grenades (RPG) which have be refitted with high explosives for reuse.
Some workers have spruced up machine guns by removing rust. Others have fixed broken and jammed guns, while others remove rust. Event rocket pods, usually fired from aircraft, are being repaired.
