Lindsay Lohan attends community service orientation in see-through dress
Mean Girls star Lindsay Lohan, who is set to serve 360 hours of community service at the Downtown Women's Center, a homeless shelter, by conducting a theater workshop for underprivileged women, seems to be drawing more attention for her outfit than her acting skills.
Lindsay, who has been sentenced to 120 days in jail and 480 hours of community service for a probation violation, turned heads when she sauntered out of the homeless shelter on Monday, sporting a see-through black sheer tank that almost revealed her ample assets.
The Hollywood actress, who has been charged with stealing a $2,500 necklace from Kamofie & Co., a swanky jewelry store, in Los Angeles, is all set to plead contest in the court sometime later this week. Her trial is scheduled to start on May 11.
In an interview with US talk show host Jay Leno on The Tonight Show, which aired last week, Lindsay said she's learning to deal with the consequences of her poor decisions in the past.
Lindsay said she was shocked by the kinda shocked by the jail sentence and didn't really expect the outcome to be what it was.
The actress said the jail term was a wake-up call for her. It was definitely shocking. I was kinda numb, Lindsay, who is free on bail, said.
However, I'm a big girl and I'm gonna do what I'm told to do and that's what I have to do to continue on with working in my life and I'm taking responsibility, she said. I'm a fighter and I know that I have to work to gain back the respect back, and I'm willing to do the work that I have to do to follow through with being an actress.
The actress said she's on a journey of reformation but the way she dressed on Monday to attend the orientation session at the homeless shelter, is certain to make people think she got lost somewhere along the way.
Nonetheless, for Lindsay's sake we hope she has reformed because she won't get the chance to dress that way if she lands up in jail.
