Lindsay Lohan's father arrested for domestic violence
People.com is reporting that Lindsay Lohan's dad, Michael, was arrested on three felony charges Tuesday in West Hollywood.
The arrest came after a female friend accused him of domestic violence at a nearby apartment, police said.
The 50-year-old father of troubled actress Lindsay Lohan was booked on charges of inflicting corporal injury on a cohabitant, false imprisonment and preventing a report of victimization, Lt. John Ratto told People.com
Mr. Lohan was arrested after we received a call around 9 p.m. regarding a domestic dispute. He was detained after he was spotted walking on the street near our station. He showed no signs of intoxication that I'm aware of and has been cooperative, said Lt. Ratto.
The victim has not been identified, but is said to have suffered minor injuries and declined medial treatment.
Michael Lohan was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he currently remains, after complaining of a medical condition not related to the incident, while he was at the police station, said Lt. Ratto.
This is not the first time Michael Lohan has had a run in with the law. He has previously spent time in jail. His current bail was set at $200,000.
Michael's daughter, Lindsay, is also dealing with law issues herself. She is expected to appear before a judge Wednesday to inform whether she will accept a plea deal with jail time or go to trial in her felony grand theft case.
