HBO Max is all set to release some highly-anticipated Emmy-winning original series like "Hacks" season 2 and many other shows releasing, returning, and dropping on the streaming platform, including "The Matrix Resurrections," "Assassins" and "Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius."

While the release dates of the "George Carlin’s American Dream" documentary and "PAUSE with Sam Jay" season 2 are not announced yet, they are expected to release in the month of May.

First Week

The crime drama, "The Staircase," is slated to release on May 5. "Yellowface: Asian Whitewashing and Racism in Hollywood," a documentary released in 2019, is coming to the streaming service from May 1 onwards.

HBO Max will be home for many other movies, including "Devil in A Blue Dress," "Downhill," "Domino," "Love and Baseball," "The Machine That Kills Bad People," "Masters Of The Universe," "Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li," "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" and "Underworld: Awakening."

Second Week

The highly-anticipated 2021's movie, "The Matrix Resurrections," is also coming to the platform on May 10 alongside the animated movie, "Catwoman: Hunted."

HBO Max Original series, "Who’s By Your Side," is releasing on May 12, while the first episode of "The Time Traveler’s Wife" starring Rose Leslie and Theo James’ will drop on May 15.

Third Week

"Sesame Street Mecha Builders" and "The Mule" are coming on May 17, while "Identidad Tomada," "Fast Foodies" season 2, and "Teen Titans Go!" Season 7 Part B are coming on May 20, 22, and 23, respectively.

Fourth Week

"That Damn Michael Che" season 2 is releasing on May 26. "The Misery Index" Season 3 Part B is coming on May 29, while "Stath Lets Flats," "Blippi Special," "Blippi: Learn With Blippi," "Blippi Wonders" and "Blippi Visits" will be available from May 27 onwards. Season 1 and 2 of "Ghost" are also dropping on May 27.

Fifth Week

In the final week, you can watch 2006's "Miami Vice" (extended version). It is releasing on May 31. Aside from this, there are many titles leaving the platform on May 31, including "The 40-Year-Old Virgin," "Speed," "Clueless," 2005's "Pride and Prejudice" and "Dr. Dolittle."

HBO Max has also dropped the first 10-minute preview of "The Batman" on YouTube, the same day the film premiered on its own streaming platform.
