Kim Kardashian debuted her new single 'Jam' on Wednesday morning on 'On Air with Ryan Seacrest'.

Kim, who was accompanied by her sister Kourtney Kardashian, explained how she got the opportunity to work with The-Dream.

My good friend Ciara was like 'The-Dream wants your number' and i was like 'Please, I'm sure he does' and she said 'no seriously he really wants to do a song with you', Kim Kardashian is quoted as saying on Ryanseacrest.com.

[The-Dream said] let's just have fun. Let's donate the proceeds, let's just have fun with it don't take yourself seriously, try something you've never done before, she added.

Kim is reportedly donating all proceeds from the song to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Viewers of 'Kourtney & Kim Take New York' will be able to watch Kim recording the song in studio soon.
