Liz Cheney, the 46-year-old daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, said she will challenge Sen. Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., in next year’s election, according to the Associated Press.
Cheney is an attorney and is also political commentator with Fox News. She worked for the State Department during the Bush administration and continues to speack at Republican Party events. She announced her plans on Tuesday. Enzi announced that day he will be seeking reelection in 2014.
