Lollapalooza 2013 Lineup Revealed: The Cure, Mumford & Sons, The Killers, Nine Inch Nails Headline [VIDEO]
Lollapalooza announced its 2013 lineup and the Cure, Mumford & Sons, the Killers and Nine Inch Nails will headline the music festival taking place in Chicago, which runs from Aug. 2-4.
The lineup was leaked last week, and later confirmed, so the announcement doesn't offer a lot of surprises. Nine Inch Nails headlined the music festival in 2008, and the Killers headlined it in 2009. At this year's event, the Killers and Nine Inch Nails are scheduled to headline on Friday, Aug. 2; Mumford & Sons and the Postal Service will play on Saturday, Aug. 3, and the Cure and Phoenix will play on Sunday, Aug. 4.
In addition to the Phoenix and the Postal Service, other acts joining the headliners will include Vampire Weekend, New Order, Queens of the Stone Age, the National, the Lumineers, Kendrick Lamar and Lana Del Ray. Lollapalooza also features plenty of other performers worth checking out, including Grizzly Bear, Imagine Dragons, Major Lazer, Alt-J, Death Grips, Jessie Ware, Icona Pop, Wild Belle, Skaters and Palma Violets.
Three-day passes for Lollapalooza sold out almost instantly, but single-day passes are still available, promoters said. Starting on April 3, at 10 a.m. CST, Lollapalooza will be selling single-day tickets for $95.
