Festival Tips
Lollapalooza 2018 will feature eight stages and more than 180 musical acts, which will consist of a lot of walking and standing for fans eager to watch their favorite artists perform. Be sure you have a safe and enjoyable experience by checking out these festival tips.
-Festival grounds open starting at 11 a.m. CDT and close at 10 p.m. CDT each day.
-Weather.com predicts the temperature will be in the upper 80s throughout the festival, which means staying cool and refreshed will be essential if you plan on hanging out in the festival heat all day long.
-One way to stay cool is with a Sweatopause cooling scarf. Not only is it a stylish accessory, but when wet, the scarf becomes icy cold, cooling you down up to 30 percent below skin temperature. Meanwhile, when the scarf is dry, it will remain at air temperature.
-While fashion is important, so is staying hydrated. Although Lollapalooza rules prohibit attendees from bringing in outside food or beverages, guests will be allowed to bring in empty hydration packs and water bottles.
-If you are looking to stay hydrated but hate the thought of using unfiltered water at a fill-up station, consider bringing along a Santevia Recovery Stick. All you have to do is drop the stick into your water bottle and shake for 30 seconds. In three to five minutes the water will reach optimal pH and chlorine reduction. You can then quench your thirst while the stick assists with brain, bone and skin recovery.
The Recovery Stick, which has a 3-month filter life, fits perfectly in the eco-friendly and BPA-Free Power Pair Tritan.
-No matter how you plan to keep cool, be sure to invest in a durable water bottle that will keep you refreshed during the festival. Swig’s 50 oz insulated travel bottle keeps liquids cold up for to 48 hours and can keep a beverage hot for up to one day. While the larger bottle features an easy to grip handle, the 17 oz Swig bottle will be convenient if you plan on traveling light, which is recommended for quicker entry into the festival grounds.
-Guests who are looking for a speedy entry into Lollapalooza should leave their bags at home so the can utilize the No Bag Express Lane. Small totes, drawstring bags and purses are still allowed in the festival, but attendees will have to wait in line for their bags to be screened by officials.
