‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’ Star Karlie Redd Says She And Lyfe Jennings Are Taking Things Slow Because She’s ‘Scared’ [VIDEO]

Karlie Redd is taking K. Michele’s advice and taking things slow with her boyfriend, Lyfe Jennings. The “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star dished about her and Lyfe’s romance in a bonus clip of the VH1 show, admitting that she’s taking her time because she’s a little “scared.”

After telling K. Michele about her Playboy photo shoot and radio show, Karlie tells her friend that she really likes the “Must Be Nice” singer and is “attracted to him,” but doesn’t want to get hurt again. “I’ve been through so much,” she explains. “I honestly want to take it slow because I’m scared. But if, by any chance, Lyfe says, ‘You know what, I wanna step it up and I really wanna take it there,’ then I don’t wanna lose out.”

Karlie and Lyfe rarely talk about their relationship and the reality star doesn’t often share photos of them together on social media. Last month, a photo of the couple made an appearance on her page after they enjoyed a nice date night together.

Even though Karlie told K. Michele she wants to take things slow with Lyfe, rumors surfaced in March that he had proposed to her when an extended trailer for Season 5 of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” showed him presenting Karlie with a giant diamond ring. “I don’t wanna give up on this,” he told her in the video. Karlie never responded to Lyfe because she seemingly fainted and fell on the ground.
