The complicated love triangle encompassing Peter Gunz, Amina Buddafly and Tara Wallace continues on episode 8 of “Love & Hip Hop: New York.” Meanwhile, new cast member MariahLynn also finds herself in a sticky situation with Rich Dollaz and Cisco Rosado.

Peter’s relationship drama with his ex-girlfriend Tara and wife Amina has been a major storyline on Season 6 of the VH1 show. Amina had an abortion after learning she was pregnant with her second child because she didn’t want to bring a baby into the chaos with her, Peter and Tara. Fairly soon after Amina’s abortion, Tara found out she was pregnant with her and Peter’s third child. Tara is set to give birth in a few weeks.

In episode 8 Monday, Peter interrupts Amina’s studio session to break the news to her that Tara is pregnant. As one might expect, Amina breaks down, sobbing. She’s mad Tara is keeping her baby while she got an abortion. Peter and Amina begin to argue, and the former Black Buddafly singer storms out the room, telling Peter he’s “evil.”

Amina later meets with Peter’s daughter Whitney to tell her what’s going on. Whitney suggests Amina sit down with Peter and have a serious discussion about where their relationship is headed. Amina agrees it’s time she finally makes a decision about whether she wants to stay married.

While Peter and Amina are going through their marriage issues, New Jersey native Mariah gets caught in the middle of the feud between Cisco and Rich. Cisco had a falling-out with the producer after Rich slept with his ex-girlfriend, Diamond Strawberry, last season.

Mariah knows Rich and Cisco aren’t friends, but she attempts to sneakily spend time with both of them. During the episode, Mariah calls Cisco, her unofficial boyfriend, because she needs to vent about her pregnant mom being hauled away to jail again. When Cisco doesn’t answer his phone, Mariah stops by Rich’s house. Rich comforts Mariah, and the two start flirting with each other.

Later in the episode, Rich finds out from Rah Ali that Mariah is dating Cisco, and the producer hatches a plan to expose the “Once Upon a Time (I Was a H--)” rapper. He invites Mariah out for drinks and calls Cisco to meet them at the bar. Rich begins telling Cisco that he hooked up with Mariah, and Cisco fires back, claiming he only started talking to the rapper to get back at Rich. Mariah gets upset and storms out of the bar.

Also during episode 8, viewers learn more about Cardi B’s love life. The former stripper tells her sister that her boyfriend Tommy, who’s currently serving time in a New York jail, surprised her with marriage papers. Cardi tells her sister she never wanted a traditional ceremony and would prefer to have a jail wedding. However, Cardi tells Tommy she’s hesitant to sign the papers and she’s beginning to get cold feet. Tommy reassures Cardi and tells her that he loves her and wants to take care of her once he’s released.
