‘Love & Hip Hop: New York’ Star Amina Buddafly Is Writing A Tell-All Book; Will She Address Tara Wallace, Peter Gunz Drama?
Amina Buddafly will soon add published author to her resume. The “Love & Hip Hop: New York” star and mom of two announced on Instagram Tuesday that she wrote a book, titled “The Other Woman.”
“There are many sides to a story,” Amina captioned an Instagram post showing the cover of her book. “I’ve decided to tell mine. Checkout the cover for my forthcoming book: The Other Woman. I’ve been working hard on this for a long time and I can’t wait to share this book and my journey with the world.”
The VH1 reality star didn’t reveal when the book will be released, but said that information, as well as details about her book tour, will be announced soon. The publishing company Amina is working with, 13th & Joan, also teased the book, posting a video of Amina singing. “Our clients are so talented. How beautiful is @aminabuddafly displaying her vocal skills! She will soon reveal another talent: writing,” the post read. “As she prepares for her debut as an author, you will learn that the ones who are unafraid to be bear their souls are beautiful.”
Even though Amina didn’t exactly reveal what the book will be about, based on the title it seems fans will get to hear Amina’s side of the drama between her, her estranged husband Peter Gunz and his ex Tara Wallace. Amina and Peter, who welcomed a second child together last month, separated after Peter got Tara pregnant. Tara gave birth to her and Peter’s third son, Gunner, in February. The drama between the trio was a main storyline on Season 6 of “Love & Hip Hop: New York.”
Amina isn’t the only VH1 star to write a book. Former “Love & Hip Hop: New York” cast member Erica Mena released two books in 2013, “Underneath It All” and “Chronicles Of A Confirmed Bachelorette: The Girl Factor.” Tara is also a published author and released her book “The Goddess Potential: A Guide to Developing a Relationship with Your Inner Self” earlier this year.
