Amy Roloff and her fiancé Chris Marek are working on a wood project for their big day.
The "Little People, Big World" star took to Instagram this weekend to share three photos of an art project that she and her husband-to-be have been working on for their upcoming wedding.
The first photo is a selfie Amy took with a huge piece of wood on the floor carved with their initials and the number "8." Another snap featured Marek working on the wood project, while the third is a close-up picture of the wood carved with a heart, the letters "C+A" and the date "8.28.21."
"We're working together on a wood project for the wedding," Amy wrote. "Chris is really doing all of it!"
"My small part was to 'brand' it. Oops... the date is a little off but we'll be the only ones that see it," she added. "C + A 8.28.21. Woohoo!"
Amy's followers had some suggestions for her wood project.
"Put a 0 in front of the eight and maybe you’ll get the look you want. 08.28.21," one commented, to which another replied, "Yes that would look much better."
"Add the zero in front of the 8 and it might help make it centered," a different Instagram user wrote.
On Saturday, the TLC star wrote on Instagram that it was "all hands on deck" as her wedding day nears.
"Me, @lisardixon13, and @pdx1dls decided a little wedding planning over chips and margaritas was the perfect course of action," she posted. "Earlier, we took a tour of the farm where Chris joined us and we worked through some of our final plans. I can't wait till the big day!"
Amy and Marek announced their engagement in September 2019. A month later, Amy's son, Zach Roloff, said his mom's wedding was temporarily put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, he also said at the time that they wanted to have a summer wedding.
She and Marek are now set to tie the knot on Aug. 28 at Roloff Farms, which is owned by Amy's ex-husband Matt Roloff.
With Amy's big day coming up, Matt posted on Instagram earlier this month that he is working on finishing a new building at the farm. According to Matt, he is "racing at full speed to get the new building finished" before Marek and Amy's wedding day.
But while the ceremony will be held on Matt's property, he and his girlfriend Caryn Chandler will not be among the guests. In a recent "Little People, Big World" episode, Amy confessed that she "debated" whether to invite them but ultimately "decided against it."
"I think it causes less drama and I think that's better for everyone," she explained.
Amy and Matt finalized their divorce in 2016 after 29 years of marriage. They share twins Jeremy and Zach, 31, daughter Molly, 27, and son Jacob, 24.
