‘Lucifer’ Season 2 Spoilers: Did Charlotte Hypnotize Chloe Into Making A Move On Lucifer In Episode 12?

“Lucifer” Season 2, episode 12 will bring some major developments for the two leads of the hit FOX TV series as Chloe Decker (Lauren German) might make another move on Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis).

However, the teaser for “Lucifer” Season 2, episode 12, titled “Love Handles,” seems to suggest that Chloe’s sudden infatuation with the lead character is not real. Even though Chloe may have some feelings for Lucifer, this does not mean that she has fallen in love with him.

The clip opens with Chloe waking up from what appears to be a nightmare. Her eyes are wide open, and she’s in shock. In the next scene, Lucifer tells his mom, Charlotte (Tricia Helfer), that he’s unsure if Chloe’s feelings for him are genuine.

In “Stewardess Interruptus,” Charlotte paid Chloe a visit at the station. During their conversation, Charlotte told Chloe that she now wants her to date Lucifer. This appeared to be part of Charlotte’s plan to get Lucifer back to Hell, and it's possible that Charlotte used her powers on Chloe so that the latter would do as she was told.

Meanwhile, one fan asked the writers of “Lucifer” if there’s any information they can share about “Love Handles” via Twitter. Even though the writers didn’t share any spoilers, they confirmed that “Lucifer” Season 2, episode 12 will be an exciting one.

In the upcoming episode, Lucifer and Chloe will also investigate a masked killer who has been poisoning college students. In addition, Charlotte will reach out to Dr. Linda (Rachael Harris) about a sensitive subject.

“Love Handles” will also introduce Tim DeKay’s Big Bad character, Professor Jacob Carlisle. Based on his character description, he will not only try to take down Lucifer, but also the one person that he loves the most, Chloe.

“Lucifer” Season 2, episode 12 will air on FOX on Jan. 23 at 9 p.m. EST.
