‘Lucifer’ Season 2 Spoilers: Episode 3 Sneak Peek Released Online; What Will Happen In ‘Sin-Eater’?

“Lucifer” Season 2, episode 3 will see Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) and Chloe Decker (Lauren German) investigating another murder case.

In the teaser for “Sin-Eater,” Lucifer and Chloe head to the scene of a crime and find a man hanging by the neck and with an apple inside his mouth. Chloe immediately realizes that there’s a serial killer on the loose. When she approaches the dead man to search for clues, Lucifer warns her not to get too close because the chains around the victim could be a trap.

Meanwhile, Season 2, episode 3 will see the official return of Lucifer’s mom, Charlotte (Tricia Helfer). She will now go by the name Charlotte Richards. In episode 2, it was confirmed that Lucifer’s mom took on the identity of a woman named Charlotte. Lucifer also mentioned that it’s possible his mom will look like someone else in the near future.

Charlotte’s stay in Los Angeles will be a tumultuous one. She will continue to try convincing Lucifer that she’s not on Earth to cause problems, but she will find it difficult to make him believe her. Charlotte will also reunite with her other son, Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside), who is not exactly pleased to see her either.

In other news, Amenadiel is slowly losing his power. In “Liar, Liar, Slutty Dress on Fire,” the angel discovered that his wings are falling off. In the upcoming episode, he will reach out to Dr. Linda (Rachael Harris) and open up about his worries to her. Amenadiel will also talk about his relationship with Maze (Lesley Ann-Brandt), who has been avoiding him for the past couple of weeks. It’s possible that Maze and Amenadiel will bump into each other at a bar while Maze is enjoying a night out with Dr. Linda.

“Lucifer” Season 2, episode 3 will air on FOX on Monday, Oct. 10 at 9 p.m. ET.
