‘Lucifer’ Season 3, Episode 5 Won’t Focus On Maze; Official Title Released
The official title for “Lucifer” Season 3, episode 5 has just been released!
According to TV Line, the installment has been given the title “Chloe Does Lucifer.” Several meanings may be surmised from the title alone, but the people behind the hit Fox TV series haven’t shared any information about the episode.
Previously, a fan-made spoiler account claimed that episode 5 will center on Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt) since the character had one episode all to herself in Season 2. However, executive producer Joe Henderson previously confirmed that the four standalone episodes, including that of Maze’s, will now be part of Season 3.
Meanwhile, “Lucifer” lead star Tom Ellis recently shared some of his most remarkable memories from last season. According to the actor, one of the highlights from Season 2 was when Charlotte (Tricia Helfer) arrived and reunited with her sons, Lucifer and Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside).
Ellis especially enjoyed working with Aimee Garcia in some of the episodes from Season 2. The actress played the role of Ella, and Ellis said that the character and Lucifer had a brother-sister type of relationship. There was one scene wherein a naïve Ella couldn’t believe the Lucifer could do something bad since he’s always been nice to her.
Lucifer and Dan (Kevin Alejandro) also had a much better relationship in Season 2 compared to Season 1. In one of the episodes, the two male characters went undercover to find information about a criminal. They went on a spa date, and Dan was very helpful at one point. Off set, Ellis said that he and Alejandro have become good friends.
But aside from these wonderful memories with his co-stars, Ellis said that the biggest highlight from Season 2 was the support they received from their fans. The actor is pleased with how audiences have embraced “Lucifer” and thanked them for making a third season possible.
“Lucifer” Season 3 will premiere on Fox on Oct. 2 at 8 p.m. EDT.
