In June, Cupertino tech giant Apple revealed its new Mac Pro, a powerful computer designed for the most power hungry of creatives and users. The company's website continues to say that the new Mac Pro will arrive “this fall” but doesn't specify an exact release date. An Instagram post, however, reveals that it might not take long before Apple's latest arrives to the public.

DJ and music producer Calvin Harris recently posted an Instagram story that featured some of his offerings while giving fans a quick look at his studio where he usually does his work. MacRumors noted that inside the studio sits a familiar item: the huge cheese grater case everybody came to know as belonging to the Mac Pro.

While the video was obviously meant to focus not on the Mac Pro, it does reveal Apple's new computing device, hinting at a possible near-release. Harris might've avoided talking about the new Mac Pro, but the video itself hints that Cupertino already has enough confidence to start sending the device out to big-name pros like him, Engadget noted.

This seeding simply means that the Mac Pro could be released to the public real soon. It already has FCC approval, Apple Insider noted, which adds to the possibility that Cupertino might soon start receiving preorders. Shipping dates, however, are another thing. Nevertheless, it's interesting to see Apple's latest Mac Pro out in the wild.

Specs

The new Mac Pro is Apple's most powerful system to date. It uses a new Intel Xeon processor that can have up to 28 cores. This is backed by up to 1.5TB of 2933 MHz ECC RAM, up to AMD Radeon Pro Vega II Duo graphics with 64GB of HBM2 memory, and up to 4TB SSD storage. The new computer also has eight PCI-E slots, two of which are MPX modules, so users can configure it to their preferences.

This Mac Pro model boasts of an all-new design which includes a stainless steel frame, an aluminum housing that lifts to give users 360-degree access to its innards, a lattice pattern (that looks like a huge cheese grater) for maximum airflow, and smooth handles so that users can move it from one place to another.

Those who want to purchase the all-new Mac Pro will need to shell out at least $5,999 for a model with an eight-core Xeon processor, 32GB of RAM, a Radeon Pro 580X for graphics and 256GB of SSD storage.
