Machine Gun Kelly Says Pete Davidson Will Stand Beside Him On His Wedding Day
Machine Gun Kelly has confirmed Pete Davidson will play an intimate role in his and Megan Fox's wedding. During his appearance on SiruisXM’s “The Howard Stern Show” on Wednesday, the rapper opened up about his and Fox’s wedding plans and said Davidson would be “standing there with me” on the couple's big day.
During the segment, Howard Stern asked Kelly if Davidson would be his best man and Kelly said “an army of people” would be standing next to him on their wedding day.
“I have so many close and best friends that have been with me through all these years,” he told Stern. “But yeah, I think Pete’s absolutely gonna be standing there with me. We should just mic him for commentary anyway,” he added.
When the host called his friendship with the “Saturday Night Live” star a “bromance,” Kelly agreed, saying, “I was blessed. We both came into each other’s life at the right time.”
Kelly also talked about how he and Davidson have supported each other over the years, including when Kanye West publicly disparaged Davidson on social media. The rocker revealed how he was there for his friend, who is now dating West’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
“I got thrown into that too, oddly enough,” he said. “At the end of the day, man, we’re young men trying to find our place in the world and figure it out and it doesn’t really help that you have a million voices ripping you apart,” he added.
“We love everybody, man. We have so much love. It’s almost like, if we need to be the vessels for someone’s anger, then so be it. That must be why we’re here. I do hope that they can feel our spirit and see that we love you,” Kelly continued.
Kelly and Fox started dating in the early days of quarantine in 2020. They got engaged on January 12, about a year and a half after making their relationship official.
At the time, Fox shared a video of Kelly getting down on one knee under a banyan tree and proposing to her.
"In July of 2020, we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma. Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him," Fox wrote.
