‘Madam Secretary’ Season 3 Spoilers: Elizabeth Seeks Help Of A Notorious Arms Dealer

Elisabeth’s (Téa Leoni) adventures in “Madam Secretary” Season 3 continues. In the next episode, she will ask the help of an unlikely ally.

In the previous episode of “Madam Secretary” titled “Good Bones,” Elizabeth asked the help of Hollywood star Ashley Whittaker (Julia Nicole Schlaepfer) to convince the Kyrgyzstan president to stop human trafficking in his country.

In the next episode, titled “Global Relief,” Elizabeth will ask the help of a notorious Russian arms dealer when the rebels threaten her Somalian relief efforts and kidnap an American aide. To make matters worse, her husband Henry (Tim Daly) will be blindsided as he will be taken off the VFF doomsday cult case.

In the promo teaser, Henry will not tell Elizabeth about his being kicked out in the case. In one scene, Henry is silently reading while sitting when Elizabeth approaches him and hit him on his head while angrily yelling at him, “How could you not tell me?”

Henry has been working on the doomsday cult case for quite some time. Some even think it's his baby. Henry believes it is a cause that he should pursue. Thus, the next episode will be somehow emotional for the character.

Meanwhile, Alison (Kathrine Herzer) and Stevie (Wallis Currie-Wood) will wait for their college admission. Tony Award-winning actor John Cullum will appear on the next “Madam Secretary” episode as Senator Beau Carpenter, whom Elizabeth will ask to assist her on her Somali relief mission.

“Madam Secretary” will be on hiatus for two weeks. The next episode will not air this Sunday, but the wait will not be long. The series will return on April 23, at 9 p.m EST on CBS, Cartermatt reported.
