Maddie Ziegler ‘Responds’ To Abby Lee Miller’s Post About Her Boyfriend Jack Kelly
Maddie Ziegler doesn’t appear fazed by her former coach’s claims about her and her boyfriend, Jack Kelly. Earlier this week, “Dance Moms” alum Abby Lee Miller posted a throwback photo of Maddie and Jack, revealing on Instagram that she initially set up the pair.
“I remember the day I introduced [Maddie] and [Jack],” she wrote. “This was the beginning... Two Too Cute! Who would’ve thunk it? Lol! Me!”
While Maddie did not directly respond to Abby’s claims she set her up with her current flame, the didn’t stop the Sia music video star from updating fans on her romance with the Australian teen. On Tuesday night, Maddie shared a photo of her and her boyfriend, revealing they will reunite soon.

“I SEE YOU SO SOON,” Maddie captioned the sweet image. In the photo, Jack can be seen resting his cheek on Maddie as the two look sadly into the camera. Jack shared the very same photo on his Instagram page on Tuesday as well, writing, “See this cutie very soon.”
Maddie and Jack first came forward with their relationship in January after the dancer shared a telling photo of her and beau on Instagram. Since that time, the couple has continued to flaunt their romance on social media.
Last week, Jack updated fans on the relationship, posting an picture of himself posing with Maddie. “Miss this,” he titled the shot. Several weeks prior, he posted a shot of him and Maddie cuddling up in their swimsuits. Maddie has a lot more going on than just a relationship, however. The 14-year-old has a long list of projects coming this year, including the release of the first installment in her young adult book series and the big screen debut of her first feature film, “The Book of Henry.”
While big things are no doubt coming for Maddie, she hasn’t forgotten about her dancing roots or her sister and former “Dance Moms” co-star, Mackenzie Ziegler.
“We left the show, we kind of went off and did our own things,” Maddie told Huffington Post when asked if she would collaborate with her 12-year-old sibling.
“Of course we’re both focused on dance, but I’ve been focusing on acting a lot, and she’s been focusing mainly on music. Maybe in the future we’ll do a little dance video together or something!”
As for dancing and acting, Maddie says she plans to continue to keep doing both. “I love acting and I want it to be a big focus for me. I don’t want it to be a one-time thing,” she said. “But dancing will always come before acting. It’s my No. 1 passion and I wouldn’t be anywhere without it.”
Maddie’s fans can catch her in “The Book of Henry” in theaters on June 16. Her memoir, “The Maddie Diaries,” is currently on sale, and her YA adult series about the competitive world of dance will begin releasing this fall.
As for “Dance Moms,” Lifetime viewers shouldn’t expect a cameo from her anytime soon.
