Madison Beer Spotted With Ex-Boyfriend Jack Gilinsky After Brooklyn Crush Reveal

Madison Beer may have a crush on Brooklyn Beckham but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have a soft spot for her ex-boyfriend Jack Gilinsky. The singer was spotted hanging out with her former beau and a few friends in Hollywood, California.

The 18-year-old singer was seen walking next to Gilinsky while leaving local hot spot Avenue on Tuesday night, according to TMZ. Even though they walked side by side, another guy was photographed with his arm around Beer’s waist while walking. Later on, a different man was seen walking arm and arm with the singer once she separated from her ex.

Gilinsky eventually made his way into a nearby parking lot where the group loaded into Beer’s car and left together.

News that Beer and Gilinsky have spent time together comes after audio was leaked of the star verbally abusing his ex-girlfriend and calling her out of her name. On July 2, he issued a public apology to the “Dead” singer.

“There’s no justifying the words that came out of my mouth in that audio file. In no way do I stand behind who I was in that part of my life. But people change and learn from their mistakes,” he wrote in a lengthy statement posted to Instagram.

Gilinsky went on to thank Beer who stayed by his side following the argument. “Madison knew if she didn’t help me overcome my ways and change, no one would & I would never learn from my mistakes. I’ll never be able to thank her enough for believing in me the way she did during that time,” he added.

In a post addressed to her fans, Beer explained why she remained in a relationship with Gilinsky following their fight. “My theory was, and as horrible as this is, is that if I left him, he’d do it to the next girl. I tried to fix him,” she wrote.

“Don’t make the same mistakes I did, your safety is never worth it. No matter what, no one deserves to be treated that way,” she added.

Beer hinted that she has moved on from her former beau and has been spending time with Beckham during an interview with AOL’s Build Series. “I’ve known Brooklyn for years, we’ve been really close and as we’ve gotten older — and I’m newly out of a relationship, we’re definitely like crushing on each other,” the singer said.

Even though she did admit that the two are fond of each other, she revealed that a romantic relationship between them is unlikely. “People are like, ‘Oh no, you guys are definitely dating.’ But he’s moving to New York in two weeks — it’s not really realistic. … We’re just having fun right now,” she explained.

For now, it seems like Beer is enjoying the single life. “I’m very much focused on my career. I’m just 18 — just trying to navigate my life. And I’m having fun. There are obviously boys that I can crush on and stuff. But I’m very much single,” she said.

Only time will tell if the teen will indulge in another serious romance or continue to play the field.
