Major Biden's Incident Blown Out Of Proportion? Secret Service Says Yes
After Major Biden made major headlines earlier this week for showing aggressive behavior towards White House staff, the Secret Service member has stated that this has been blown out of proportion.
The 3-year-old German Shepherd rescue, along with his 13-year-old brother Champ, were both sent back to the Biden family home in Delaware after this biting incident.
While the name of the Secret Service staff hasn’t been released, direct sources have explained that this was an “extremely minor injury.”
Major Biden update: a Secret Service official tells me the dog “nipped” an agent’s hand and “no skin was broken.”This source describes it as “an extremely minor injury.”

The agent continued to work yesterday after the incident and has continued to work since then.
New info on what happened with @POTUS dog Major, per Secret Service official:
— Sean Sullivan (@WaPoSean) March 10, 2021
Major nipped agent’s hand at WH. Injury was “extremely minor.” No skin puncture. No bleeding. Agent continued their duties, all per official.
Major hasn’t had the easiest time adjusting to his new home and has been misbehaving by jumping, barking and “charging” at staff and security, according to CNN.
Americans are curious as to why this has made headlines, as well as why news outlets made it out to be worse than it really was.
Not only has this news confused Americans as to why it made headlines, but it’s also caused a political argument between Republicans and Democrats.
So, Major Biden nipped at the hand of a Secret Service member, and was summarily sent away- yet Covid infectious Trump knowingly exposed 3 Secret Service members to a deadly virus in an enclosed car, and was left unscathed. Rabid Trump supporters like Jim Jordan need to sit down.

Republicans are throwing a fit over Biden’s dog nipping a Secret Service agent but have blown off Trump killing people trying to overthrow the government.https://t.co/TvvpZdB7cq via @politicususa

I'm tripping that Republicans are so pressed about Major Biden being startled, nipping a Secret Service Officer without breaking any skin.

Didn't Trump joyride around his hospital with several USSS Officers while he had COVID?
Biden’s furry companions will be coming back to live at the White House in the near future. The First Dogs' trip to Delaware was "previously planned," according to White House press secretary Jen Psaki.
"Champ and Major, the president and first lady's dogs, members of the family, are still getting acclimated and accustomed to their new surroundings and new people," Psaki said at Tuesday's press briefing. "And on Monday, the first family's younger dog, Major, was surprised by an unfamiliar person and reacted in a way that resulted in a minor injury to the individual, which was handled by the White House Medical Unit, with no further treatment needed. It had been previously planned already for the dogs to be cared for by family friends in Delaware during Dr. Biden's travels to military bases this week, she has a three-day trip this week, and the dogs will return to the White House soon."
