Major Central American Earthquake On Mexico-Guatemala Border: In Pictures
A magnitude 6.9 earthquake shook southern Mexico and Guatemala on Monday around dawn, leading to at least two reported deaths, and the United States Geological Survey estimates there may be more tremors to come.
After the quake, which occurred at 6 a.m. local time, sources tweeted photos from the affected area showing many damaged buildings and roadways as well as emergency personnel attempting to grapple with the natural disaster.
