Maksim Chmerkovskiy And Peta Murgatroyd Dating? ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Couple Confirms Relationship

It’s a match made in ballroom heaven! According to reports, “Dancing with the Stars” athletes Maksim Chmerkovskiy, 35, and Peta Murgatroyd, 28, are coming clean with their relationship, confessing that their on-screen chemistry during the hit ABC competition was not just for the cameras after all.

“We’re a private couple and like to keep our private lives to ourselves,” Murgatroyd, who was eliminated from “DWTS” during Week 3 of the 2015 season, divulged to Radar Online about her secretive romance with Chmerkovskiy.

The Ukrainian hunk, who ended his stint on “DWTS” after winning the Mirror Ball Trophy with Meryl Davis in 2014, echoed her sentiments when he appeared on “Bianca Unanchored” in April.

“I’m dating Peta. We’ve been dating,” he said. “I just don’t talk about my personal life. I never have. I was told very early in my life not to talk about personal things. It’s not the way I grew up.”

The blond bombshell revealed that one of her favorite things about Chmerkovskiy, besides his “big heart,” is that they both appreciate discretion in their private lives. “A relationship is sacred. I love that we save that only for one another,” she said.

But their secret was out when they were caught holding hands outside West Hollywood’s Craig’s restaurant on Monday. The dancing duo was all smiles as they were photographed together after their dinner.

Chmerkovskiy and Murgatroyd previously dated for 10 months in 2012 and 2013, but the Daily Mail reports that they ended their relationship when they “hit a rough patch.”

"Peta was wary at [getting back together] since they fought so much and ended on such a bad note the last time, but he has been working hard to really be a good guy to her and show her that he's changed,” a source told Us Weekly, confirming that the couple is “fully back together.”

In fact, Murgatroyd revealed how serious their romance was when she told Radar Online that in five years, she’d like “to be juggling an amazing career with a big family and a bunch of kids.”
