KEY POINTS
- Mama June shared a cryptic post about being destined to be alone on TikTok
- Fans tried to cheer her up by saying that she’s beautiful inside and out
- The reality star clarified that her post had nothing to do with a man being linked to her
Mama June Shannon has seemingly opened up about her struggles to keep relationships in a new post on social media.
The 42-year-old reality star took to TikTok Sunday to share a clip showing different pictures of her smiling while a sad narration played in the background.
“Is it me? Am I the reason people always leave? Am I the reason all these things keep happening to me? Am I just destined to be alone?” the voiceover said.
Several of her followers quickly reacted to her post asking her if she needed someone to talk to because she seemed to be going through a tough time. Others opted to cheer her up by making her realize how beautiful she is.
“Hey if you need to talk please reach out no judgment,” one wrote.
“You are beautiful inside and out. You just haven’t found the right person. Someone true that loves you for you. Not what you can give them,” another commented.
Others assumed that her cryptic post had something to do with her relationship with TikTok influencer Donnie Hobbs, who has almost 169,000 followers and 1.5 million likes on the platform.
Mama June and Hobbs have been working on their #50weeks50states collaboration for a few weeks now to spread positivity in the country. However, Donnie has seemingly decided to stop doing it due personal reasons.
When some fans talked about Donnie possibly leaving their joint project due to a budding romance with another person, Mama June decided to break her silence on the issue in another TikTok video.
In a clip she shared with an overlay text that read, “[Here’s] the news for the day,” Mama June called out those people who assumed that she was hurting because Hobbs allegedly ditched her for another woman.
“Hey guys! What’s up? I’m publicly coming on here because I’m getting messages on Instagram and Donnie Hobbs is getting hell on his half. So as a best friend that’s never romantically been involved with him, he didn’t leave me for Erika,” Mama June said.
She went on to say that she knew about Erika and Donnie and their relationship. The We TV star then maintained that she’s wished the both of them luck.
Mama June clarified that her previous posts did not have something to do with Hobbs. She insisted that she made them because she was hurt by some “personal situation not Donnie Hobbs.”
Honey Boo Boo’s mom explained that she’s still willing to continue doing #50weeks50states with Hobbs, but it’s up to the latter if he would still like to move forward with their collaboration.
Wrapping up her post, Mama June said that whether or not Donnie is going to collab with her or not, she’s still doing it out of passion. Her final words urged everyone to stop coming after Hobbs because she still thinks of him as her best friend.
Mama June has been linked to multiple man lately, following the confirmation that she and Geno Doak have called it quits. She was previously linked to another TikTok influencer named Jordan McCollum, who is 18 years younger than her.
However, Mama June quickly nipped the problem in the bud when rumors started swirling that she’s dating McCollum. She went on social media to clarify that the much younger man was just a friend.
Before McCollum, the “Mama June: From Not To Hot” star was linked to another budding TikTok star named Jay. Unlike the other two, Jay openly admitted that Mama June was his celebrity crush. He also revealed in a livestream that they had dinner together and kissed but nothing more happened after that.
