Mama June Wants To ‘Leave The Past Behind’ And Become A ‘Better Version’ Of Herself

Mama June Shannon is manifesting for only good things to happen in her life as she decides to move forward and leave the past behind.

The 42-year-old reality star took to TikTok Wednesday to share a strong message about striving to become better to her more than 357,000 followers on the platform.

“I’m always going to be good. I might hit some bumps along the way, but I always come out on top,” she wrote in an overlay text in a clip of her lip-syncing to an original track by Lindseyricky Caves.

Mama June added that she’s doing what makes her happy and learning to be a “better” version of herself. She also noted that she’s now “leaving the past behind” and she’s “looking forward to what’s in front of me.”

The We TV star also wrote an uplifting message in her caption that read, “I’m always gonna come out on top. [A]lways have, always will. [J]ust sit back and take a lesson. [A]mazing things [are] in my future.”

Many of her fans were pleased to see this new version of Mama June, so they left her positive messages in the comments.

“You go June. You can either go through it or GROW THROUGH IT and you have chosen the right option,” one wrote.

“[You’re] amazing June!!! Keep up the good work! You are an inspiration,” another user added.

In a previous post, Mama June talked about the difficult times she had in the past years that were documented on her family’s reality show, “Mama June: From Not To Hot.”

According to Honey Boo Boo’s mom, the last couple of seasons of their show has been very “emotional” for her and her family especially when she struggled with her drug addiction that even led to her arrest in March 2019.

Mama June also maintained that what fans saw on the show was very genuine because they wanted to keep it “raw,” “real” and “no scripts” because they only wanted to show “real life stuff” to the viewers.

Aside from her rehab stint and legal battle, Mama June also had to deal with a heartbreak as she and Geno Doak officially decided to call it quits earlier this year. It wasn’t clear when exactly the two broke up, but Mama June confirmed last month that Geno was no longer part of her life.

Following their split, Mama June allegedly moved to Florence, Alabama. After that, she was linked to a string of TikTok influencers, including 24-year-old Jordan McCollum. However, the controversial matriarch insisted that all the men who have been recently linked to her were just her friends.

Mama June said that she’s not looking for new love right now as she is still “learning to love me first.”
