A Delaware suspect accused of raping an 11-year-old girl was extradited back to the state from Florida on Tuesday.

David Seeney, 44, was arrested last month in St. Petersburg for raping the young girl whom he and his wife babysat and was transferred from Pinellas County, Florida to Newcastle, Delaware to face charges of first-degree rape, dangerous crime against a minor, criminal sexual contact, sexual abuse, of a child by a person of trust and unlawful conduct, Washington Times reported.

The girl and her siblings stayed with Seeney and his wife whenever their mother was away for work.

According to investigators, the victim told police that she was at Seeney’s house watching a movie during a birthday party and a sleepover in August when the rape happened.

She was with her two siblings and her mother and when they fell asleep the suspect carried her upstairs and sexually assaulted her.
