Man Attacks Mother Dog, Beats Her Puppies To Death In Viral Video

In a horrifying case of animal cruelty, a man was caught on camera beating two puppies to death as their mother barked in horror. The incident took place in Gombak Utara, Malaysia, on Thursday.

The video of the incident shows the unidentified man attacking the mother dog and her four puppies before putting two of them in a plastic bag and beating them up mercilessly using a stick. He then throws them to the ground as the mother dog continues to bark. Another man can be seen trying to stop the culprit from beating the puppies, however, he doesn’t stop and continues beating them till they die.

The video has since gone viral on social media, creating outrage among the netizens. A case of animal cruelty was filed, however, no arrests were made as of Saturday.

“The incident took place at 10.30 a.m. local time Thursday (10.30 p.m. EDT Wednesday). A neighbor, who heard a dog barking incessantly outside his house, went out to see what the ruckus was about. Upon seeing what was happening, he tried to stop the man but was threatened. Believing the puppies to be dead, the neighbor pleaded with the man to hand over the dead puppies but the man took them with him into his house,” Malaysian Animal Association president Arie Dwi Andika said.

Meanwhile, according to local reports, the mother dog and her two other surviving puppies were under the care of the villagers and were being treated for injuries.

“The dogs are strays but are well loved by the villagers. The villagers used to feed them because they had helped the village to scare off thieves and once alerted the villagers to a snake in a resident’s house,” Andika said.

It is also believed that the man had previously killed other dogs. However, no police complaint was filed against him as the villagers did not have any video or photographic evidence.
