A man from Singapore has warned people about a “cat abuser” who is going around adopting felines and killing them.

K.H.Lee took to the Facebook page Cats and Kittens For Adoption in Singapore to share information about the man who is accused of adopting cats but not “keeping them alive.”

“I was approached by this sicko for my fostered cats, and he’s sick to the core for sending me a picture of his d---! Refer to screenshots of my conversation with him. I’ve already reported him to the police,” Lee wrote.

Speaking about a particular orange cat, Lee said the feline died less than two days after it was adopted by the accused. The man then sent a photo of the animal to the original rescuer. Lee said it looked like the feline was wet and had bloodied paws. The feline was very healthy when it was adopted by the accused. Lee said the accused also extorted money from the original rescuer prior to the feline’s death.

“Before the cat passed on, he had called the rescuer to let them know that the cat was sick. When the rescuer told him to send the cat to the vet, he refused. He then extorted money, initially 400 SGD ($288), from the rescuer but raised it to 1,000 SGD ($720) when they had begged him to return the cat. A while later, he informed the rescuer that the cat had passed on and had refused to disclose the location of the body,” Lee said in the post.

Lee said his main purpose of putting up the post was to alert other rescuers of not dealing with the accused. Meanwhile, it was also reported that the accused was caught on CCTV attempting to steal a community cat.
