Man Killed, Testicles Cut Off By Ex-Mother-In-Law Over 'Alimony Payment'

A woman and her partner were arrested Tuesday after she killed her ex-son-in-law and cut off his testicles at her home in Novgorod, Russia.

Police responded to the scene after receiving a call from the woman’s daughter telling them about what her mother had done. The 49-year-old unidentified accused and her partner were sharing a drink with the victim, 32-year-old Dmitry Bogdanov, at their home when they got into a fight over money.

In a fit of rage, the woman stabbed the man several times. When the victim collapsed, she cut off his testicles and threw it out of the window. Police said the woman’s boyfriend too stabbed the victim with a knife. Following the attack, the woman phoned her daughter and told her what she had done. The daughter in turn alerted the police.

The couple was taken into custody and during interrogation, the woman confessed to killing the man “because he was late with alimony payments.” Police said the man had 27 wounds. The investigation was ongoing and the charges levied on the couple remained unknown.

The incident comes less than a month after a Taiwanese woman cut off her ex-husband’s genitals and flushed them down the toilet after learning that he had cheated on her while they were married. Police said the man continued staying with his ex-wife even after divorce as he was jobless. On the day of the incident, the unidentified woman seduced the man before cutting off his penis and testicles and flushing them down the toilet after dousing them in acid.

The man then locked himself up in the toilet and called the police. When the officers arrived at the home, they found out that the woman too tried to kill herself by taking sleeping pills. Both of them were rushed to a nearby hospital. While the woman was listed stable, the man’s genitals couldn’t be retrieved.
