A Malaysian Twitter user warned cat owners of a man trying to adopt kittens to feed them to his pet snake.

The concerned citizen put light on the issue by uploading and sharing multiple screenshots of the man from Ipoh suggesting to other snake owners that they can get "free" kittens from the pet owners who are making their cats available for adoption.

"Tips: My friend and I always go for free kitten or rabbit adoption for our snakes," the man wrote in the screenshots.

A user replied by saying that he should feed pigs to his snake, to which he replied, "Pigs are too big for snakes to eat. Kittens are a different story." He added, "It's an amazing moment when their meow fades after they've been attacked. The sound of their bones cracking is just 'chef's kiss.'"

The snake owner first posted an advertisement on Twitter in June 2022, saying he was interested and looking for a kitten to adopt around Ipoh.

"Hi all, do you know anyone who's looking to let go of their kitten or rabbit? I would like to adopt. My Helga is lonely," he wrote at the time. However, he did not directly say Helga was the name of his pet snake in the tweet, which resulted in some innocent kitten owners offering their pets to him, SAYS reported.

Some Malaysians, who did not have kittens up for adoption, even responded to his tweet by saying that they were willing to let go of their adult cats. "Oh no, unfortunately, adult cats are too big," he replied.

He soon announced that he had found kittens for Helga and claimed that his pet snake was happy about it. "Thank you very much for the help. Below is a picture of my cute Helga," he posted while quoting his tweet from January 2022.

In his tweet, the man also said he felt bad for only feeding his snake mice. "Daddy will feed you with good food after I get those two things (the kittens)," he wrote. He also added a picture of his pet snake, Helga. Then, in another tweet dated August 2022, he also said he went to a cat adoption convention to find kittens for Helga to eat.

Malaysians got angry by the revelation and expressed their firm disagreement with the man's action by commenting on the tweet.

One user scolded the man for his behavior and was shocked that he would have the guts to inform previous owners that their kittens had died from sporotrichosis — when in reality, he made them pawn his snake.

Another user hoped that the man's snake would one day eat him. "Why? Don't keep snakes if you can't afford to feed them. Those kittens are sinless," a different user stated.
