Man Seals His Genitals With Padlock To Prove His Loyalty To Girlfriend

From getting inked to lying to parents, people do crazy things when they are in love. One young man in Thailand, however, did something a bit more drastic to prove his loyalty to his partner- he "locked" his genitals with a padlock.

The man’s girlfriend dropped by his residence on Dec. 14. After having a long conversation with her, he came up with the idea of "locking" his genitals to prove his devotion to the young woman. And in order to keep his word, the youngster purchased an actual padlock and ‘locked’ his genitals with it.

The identity of the man was not revealed.

What seemed like a reasonable idea at first quickly backfired. The man’s mother was passing by his room when she heard him screaming in pain. Panicking, the woman went inside to see what was wrong, only to find her son in a bizarre predicament, World of Buzz reported.

The man told her that he had "locked" his genitals two days ago to prove to his girlfriend that he would not mess with other women. When the mother realized that he had since been struggling to remove the lock, she quickly called for help.

Medics rushed to the residence and witnessed the man's swollen genitals from being "locked" for 48 hours. They first attempted to cut the padlock away, however, when it did not work, they used another key to open it. After opening the lock, they rushed the man to a nearby hospital, Hype reported.

His mother told local media that her son was not on drugs and that he was well-behaved and would often help her with work.

Loyalty is important for any relationship to survive. However, some might say there are better ways to declare your devotion for your partner.
