With the first official trailer of “The Mandalorian” released online, there has been a lot of excitement about the “Star Wars” live action series. The producers and cast members have also shared new details about the TV series, explaining the world Pedro Pascal’s character lives in.

Pascal’s character on the show is a bounty hunter who does dangerous jobs for money. Carl Weathers plays Greef, a character on the show who gives out some of these jobs. In a recent interview, Weathers talked about the TV series and the world in which the lone gunfighter operates.

Weathers told IGN that the bounty hunters have a code to live by the fictitious “Star Wars” world. Even the gunfighter played by Pascal is careful about this code and takes care not to violate the rules.

The trailer of the TV series also teased the extensive use of carbonite freezing. The method of freezing a body while still keeping the person alive was first seen in the original trilogy, and it was later seen in the animation shows from the franchise.

Weathers explained that carbonite freezing in “The Mandalorian” is used as a form of “punishment.” He said that this is one way the bounty hunters take care of people while doing their job.

“Carbonite is an imprisonment you wouldn't want to wish on your worst enemy, OK?” Weathers teased.

Greef is the leader of the bounty hunters guild. On the show, he will give Pascal’s character a job that no one else wants to take, Entertainment Weekly reported.

The teasers about “The Mandalorian” paint a picture of a very dark and chaotic world that emerges after the fall of the Empire. However, show creator Jon Favreau told Good Morning America that while the show is about darkness it is also about the “green shoots of life and civilization emerging.”
