A popular villain form the original trilogy may be back in “The Mandalorian” episode 6. The character was presumed dead after an action sequence, and this is the first time in “Star Wars” canon that the character will be shown to be alive.

The following article contains spoilers of “The Mandalorian” TV series.

Boba Fett had a small role in the original trilogy in terms of the screen time. However, the character quickly became a fan favourite. That villain is expected to return in the live action “Star Wars” TV series.

The last scene of episode 5 showed a character walking up to the dead body of Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen). The character’s face was not shown, but the music and the cape he wore gave enough clues about who he is.

According to The Wrap, the clues in the scene suggest that this is Boba Fett. Apart from the cape, the music in the sound effects also indicate that the famous bounty hunter will return in “The Mandalorian.” The “jangling sound” in this scene is the same sound that the fans hear in the Boba Fett scenes in “The Empire Strikes Back.”

According to Entertainment Weekly, another clue that suggests this is Boba Fett is that the scene took place on the planet Tattooine. The bounty hunter was last seen falling into the Sarlacc Pit on this planet.

The plot synopsis of the next two episodes also give clues about the return of Boba Fett, Forbes reported. In episode 7, “an old rival” will offer to make peace with Pedro Pascal’s character, and this could be about making up for the death of Fennec Shand.

“The Mandalorian” episode 6 will air on Dec. 13 on Disney+. The plot is about Pascal’s character joining a group of mercenaries for a dangerous mission.
