After watching the premiere, the fans won’t have to wait for long to watch “The Mandalorian” Season 1, episode 2. The show returns this weekend, with the bounty hunter fighting more scum of the galaxy before he can collect his prize.

The opening scene of the first episode established Perdro Pascal’s character as someone who can handle himself while dealing with multiple bad guys. The bounty hunter took on a dangerous job in the premiere episode because he wanted a bigger pay.

According to the synopsis of the second episode, which is being called Chapter 2, the gunfighter will have to deal with scavengers before he can go back to his client to collect his bounty. Pascal’s character was able to acquire his target towards the end of the premiere episode, but he will face challenges while going back to his client.

The mysterious client was revealed to be someone who used to work for the Empire. With the Empire gone and the New Republic yet to bring order to the galaxy, the bounty hunter will face a lawless time in “The Mandalorian” episode 2.

Executive producer Dave Filoni shared some insights about the show in a recent interview with “The Star Wars Show.” He explained that the TV series shows the gritty underbelly, and the street-level view of the events that don’t really impact the larger story that shapes the future of the galaxy. The show should remind the fans of the villainy in the cantina from “A New Hope.”

Talking about Pascal’s character, the producer explained that they created a character who doesn’t show his face, but uses the lens of the helmet like a brim of a hat to show his emotions and attitude. He complimented the actor for delivering that with his performance.

“The Mandalorian” episode 2 will be released on Disney+ streaming platform on Nov. 15.
