Stuart’s life is quite interesting. She was forced to flee Scotland shortly after marrying her third husband, Lord Bothwell. Then, she was imprisoned in England and later executed after being found guilty of plotting to assassinate Queen Elizabeth. The two women were fierce rivals since Elizabeth was an illegitimate child and Mary had a birthright to her throne. One queen’s story cannot be told without the other’s.
Numerous books and shows have been made on Elizabeth and Mary. CW airs a series called “Reign” that is based on the two queens’ rivalry.
Robbie will be seen in a number of upcoming movies. She recently wrapped up filming for “I, Tonya” in which she plays the title character, Tonya Harding, the real-life disgraced figure skater. The Australian actress also plays “Winne The Pooh” author’s wife in “Goodbye Christopher Robin” and a Harley Quinn spin-off is also in the works.
Robbie married British director Tom Ackerley in Decemeber last year after dating him for two years. The couple are also business partners. Together, they have their own production company called LuckyChap along with Ackerley’s friend Josey McNamara and Robbie’s friend Sophia Kerr.
