Marla Maples Called Marriage To Donald Trump ‘Pure’; POTUS’ Ex-Wife Sees Him Differently

Marla Maples was so invested in her marriage to Donald Trump that she was heartbroken when they ended up getting divorced.

During an interview with Daily Mail, the former actress said that the POTUS really gets and understands her and the fact that she has been very loyal to him. And in return, Maples also sees the POTUS beyond all of the rumors and controversies surrounding him.

In their six-year marriage, Maples and Trump oftentimes went to church together because the dad of five understood how important religion and faith are to his ex-wife. After their split, Maples was convinced that the Trump that went to church regularly was still there.

“I know it’s inside still. I would not have been able to love him if it wasn’t. I don’t think there was any way that this child, Tiffany, could come into the world if there wasn’t that light,” she said.

Maples went on to say that there was real purity in her and the POTUS’ marriage. However, all good things must eventually come to an end. In 1999, the couple officially got divorced.

“I think we had different goals in the end, and it’s sad to have to end a marriage and then move on. I have simpler ideas of life, and I wanted to raise Tiffany in a different world,” she said.

Meanwhile, the POTUS and Maples’ only daughter, Tiffany, was born in 1993. However, she didn’t get to spend as much time with her dad as she would’ve wanted.

The 26-year-old has been dubbed as the “Forgotten Trump” because not much is known about her. Tiffany is currently taking up law, and she has not been involved in her dad’s campaign and presidency.

During his interview Fox & Friends, the POTUS also seemingly praised his other children but he didn’t talk much about Tiffany. At that time, he said that he’s very proud of Don Jr., Ivanka, and Eric, but he called Tiffany terrific.
