'Married At First Sight The First Year' Spoilers: Why Is Cortney Scared For Jason's Future? Watch Episode 3 Sneak Peek

“Married At First Sight: The First Year” is still challenging both couples in Season 1, episode 3. It seems that Jamie Otis will not drop the baby subject any time soon. Doug Hehner looks terrified when he sees a fertility test in a sneak peek below. Meanwhile, Cortney Hendrix is scared for Jason Carrion’s health when she watches him fight.

Sneak Peek No. 1

Jamie has been trying to convince Doug to have children, and Doug has said repeatedly that he isn’t ready. However, his wife is not really accepting that. Jamie brings fertility tests home.

“I honestly have no idea how Doug is going to react when I hand him the fertility tests,” Jamie says to the camera. “I can picture him being like, ‘What are you doing?’”

Doug doesn’t say much to Jamie when he sees the fertility tests. Jamie explains that they’re to make sure that they won’t have trouble getting pregnant. He looks at the test, but he does not say that he isn’t ready for kids again.

“I didn’t expect Jamie to come home with a fertility test,” Doug admits to the camera. “It started out as playful conversations about having babies and then this kind of brings it to a whole other level. I’m not sure what to think right now.”

Sneak Peek No. 2

Cortney is spending quality time with Monet Bell again, but this isn’t just brunch. They’re watching Jason wrestle with someone. The firefighter-in-training steps back into the ring, but it makes his wife worried.

“It’s nervewracking, like, watching him get slammed on the ground,” Cortney tells the cameras. “They’re real punches. It’s real body contact and hitting.”

Jason gets tossed around the ring and hit in the face. “See, this is what I don’t f------ like,” Cortney tells Monet.

Cortney points out that his fighting could easily affect his career. Since Cortney lost her job, he is the only one employed. “If Jason gets hurt, and he can’t be in the fire academy, we’re screwed,” she says.
