‘Married At First Sight: Happily Ever After’ Stars Danielle And Bobby Rate Marriage Again
“Married at First Sight: Happily Ever After” brings fans back to three couples they know and love, including Bobby Dodd and Danielle Bergman. The duos are all expecting babies on the Lifetime reality show, but in the exclusive clip above, it seems Bobby and Danielle are still in their honeymoon phase.
In “MAFS” Season 7, Bobby rated his marriage a 10 and was the only husband to do so. The experts, Pastor Cal Roberson, Dr. Pepper Schwartz and Dr. Jessica Griffin, ask the “Happily Ever After” couples to rate their marriages now, and Bobby and Danielle are still feeling like a perfect 10.
Jessica asks Danielle and Bobby about their rating. Danielle reasons that it hasn’t been that long since they last rated their marriage. They feel like their marriage has only gotten better in the last few months.
The other couples don’t seem pleased. Jessica says that the ratings aren’t meant to stress the couples out. In fact, most couples aren’t perfect 10s.
“MAFS” Season 5 alum Ashley Petta tells Anthony D’Amico that they likely won’t ever achieve the high rating. “I mean, there’s always room for improvement. I don’t think we’d ever be a 10,” she says. Her husband agrees.
“It might not always be a 10. We’re not as far along as everybody else,” Danielle says. “Ask us again at year two.”
Danielle later tells the cameras that she and Ashley obviously have different views on the whole ratings process. “I know where Bobby and I are. We both rated each other a 10 because everything’s great. And I think the way that Ashley was looking at things was, ‘I would never rate things a 10 because we always have room for improvement.’ I just think we look at it a little bit differently,” she explains.
Fans will have to tune in to see what the others rate their marriages. Danielle, Bobby, Ashley and Anthony are also joined by Shawniece Jackson and Jephte Pierre from “Married at First Sight” Season 6. They’re the only couple to give birth before the spinoff reality show’s premiere. They welcomed daughter Laura Denise earlier this month.
“Married at First Sight: Happily Ever After” premieres Tuesday at 10 p.m. EDT on Lifetime.
